One-Vet-One-Pet

We provide a personal service with continuity of care, known as our One-Pet-One-Vet service, whereby we register you with one vet and, where practicable, your pet sees the same vet at each visit for continuity of care, except for emergencies or where your vet is absent.  Top of Page

Longer appointments

All our appointments are 15 minutes long to address all our clients needs and concerns. We never double book, and new clients and new pets are always offered 30 minute (double) appointments.  Top of Page 

Cancer therapy

We can arrange Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy, where appropriate, for cancer patients.  Top of Page 

Identity tags

The law states that all dogs should wear a visible identification disc – examples of available styles are in Reception at the Clinic and we will engrave the disc while you wait. Top of Page 

Merchandise

We carry an extensive range of pet leads, training devices and various grooming products, as well as over-the-counter preparations. Top of Page 

Talks and Demonstrations

Our own Principal, Julia Mewes, loves to get out into the community to talk animals! If you run a group or school who might enjoy a talk or demonstration, do get in touch. Recent talks have included the WI, Rotary Club, Great Walstead Nursery, reception classes, Oathall Community College Career's Day (shown right) & local dog clubs. Topics can cover: careers with animals, her work as a Veterinary Surgeon, first aid for pets, specific animal topics such as vaccinations for cats, rabbit care or infectious bronchitis in dogs, developments in senior wellness care or care of wildlife.
